You need to properly optimize your posts for Search Engine if you want your blog to receive high organic traffic, the kind of traffic every blogger wishes to have for the best search engine rank of their blogs.

Getting organic traffic isn’t so hard like we all think just that it takes some time to learn how search engines work and how to optimize your posts for search engine if we are to get the best results. Imagine only half of the posts on your blog appear on the first page of Google? that means a lot of traffic for you, increased revenue and so many other benefits.

If you have over 1000 articles on your blog and less than 30 posts are ranking well on search engine and driving in good numbers of traffic then you have a lot to adjust. I remember having approximately 2000 articles on my first blog but only one post was performing well on search engine, driving in over 97% of my organic traffic. The algorithm below will guarantee you good ranking for your posts but remember you will need lots of traffic if you are to have the best ranking for your posts. Sometimes search engines prioritize websites will lots of traffic more than websites that receive less traffic but that doesn’t mean your posts won’t rank well even if you have less traffic.

Put the 11 points below in place for a high search engine optimization score. I have seen a big difference on almost all the websites i have tried this on and i believe you will get the same results after implementation.

  • Include heading tags in post content (H1,H2,H3,H4)
  • Write a minimum of 350 words of content
  • Include your focus keyword in the first paragraph of post content
  • Mention your focus keyword in a heading tag
  • Keep your page title between 40 – 60 letters
  • Make sure your focus keyword appears in a post title
  • Make sure your focus keyword appears in a post permalink
  • Mention your focus keyword at least 4 times in your content
  • Use catchy post titles
  • Add some images in your post content
  • Add SEO Meta Tags on your posts

The algorithm above helped me raise my traffic from 23,000 monthly page views to over 300,000 monthly page views on one of my blogs. Please note that it might take you some weeks before you start noticing a change in your ranking depending on how often bots crawl your site content. If you can’t apply all the 11 SEO techniques above in a post then make sure at least you settle with 7. The most important techniques that shouldn’t miss out are:

  • Including your focus keyword in the first paragraph of your content
  • Including your focus keyword in a post title
  • Including your focus keyword in a post permalink

Lastly, make it a habit to always add some keywords on your posts because they will drive you traffic and help you rank better.
